You know that you're a real Erasmus when...

- you do things that you would never do in your hometown.

- you don't want to show your latest partypictures to anyone that's not an Erasmus.

- "spending the day at uni" means a day spent in front of your mail, msn and facebook.

- not even 30 calls from the neighbours and a visit from the police can keep you from having another big party. You just move and change neighbours!

- you came to your Erasmus-country wanting to find new friends among "the locals", but soon realised that the other Erasmuses are more fun.

- the people you just know by your own made up nicknames, such as "the hunk, the pop-guy, Hi5, barefootman..." etc are people you absolutely want to invite to your birthdayparty.

- most of your time is spent preparing for or recovering from a night out.

- you to everyone proudly present old silly songs from you home country, claiming that its a classic...without being embarrassed.

- you no longer care whether it's monday or friday - it's still partynight!

- you recognize people saying hi to you in the street thanks to the pictures you took last night.

- you refer to everything as before or after a certain Erasmus-event.

- you know that nothing is better than a night out at the erasmus pubs and clubs - although your friends complain about always going to the same places...

- you kiss anyone and anything without bothering about the consequences (good or bad).

- you blame all your bad behaviour on the fact that you're an Erasmus.

- you do a test to measure your consume of alcohol and get serioulsy worried about your health.

- you know that the time of your life is now!

just wondering

... well i just considered telling you all the stuff, that happened, but that's quitely impossible. but to get started at all, i'll tell you something about my first trip to germany on 16th of november last year. i knew about the tbh-fest that would be around these date in germany and why not, i got a cheap flight to basel and so i went there. here it was realy hot weather about 25 degrees and i arrived there and it was snowing. i even couldn't believe this. i took the train to konstanz and arrived and the tbh and the doors 've been already closed. so i decided to throw some stones onto the windows and then the people startet to recognize that it's me, standing outside...
that was a great welcome back situation and we had a great party all night long.

then i headed north to my parents home and wanted to use the local trains. but guess whant happened. the local train companies were on a strike. so i made it all the long way from portugal to stuttgart, but i didn't arrive at my parrents home. :-( i called a good friend of my, flo, and he catched me up and brought me to my parents house. unluckily they weren't at home at this very moment, so i made me, feel comfortable. when they finally came back. i went into theirs arms and told something about "where 've you been". they were totally confused.. it've been a nice situation. :)

well of course i met all the friends around esslingen, and then i already needed to get back to portugal.
but that was a nice trip.. especially knocking the peoples doors, not knowing that i'm in town.
:)
that's it for today ..
stay blogged.

what a mess...

... i really had my doubts that it would be, like it was in the last autumn, but yeah, it is. it really is almost the same it've been. i'm talking about the damn mosquitos, the are punishing us, all day long. yesterday i went out for some photo-action (yeah i didn't tell, but i got myself a canon dslr camera...) and i was bitten over a hundred times. that really sucks.

well... i wasn't blogging for a "while" and i guess that everybody that had my url in mind already leaved, so what i am doing right now, might be the same like talking with a wall, but why not :)

there's a lot i could talk about, right now... the last entry was in november 2oo7. well.. i was in germany, i was in portugal, i went back to germany and portugal as well. .... and guess, i headed back to germany and wonder.. i was in the united states to visit my brother. i've been there for almost 4 weeks and we did some 7500km by car and we've seen all the things you could see in the south-western part of the united states. i.. for sure, lost some bucks in las vegas. but who cares. :) during this, my laptop broke down twice, but i luckily got it fixed for free. well, .. finally i came back to famous *lol* setubal and started studying again. today there was my first "vorlesung" sorry.. i'm going to check the word in my brand new ipod touch *g* it tells me lectures.. maybe.

what else i could tell you. right here it's quite funny... there is a huge amount of erasmus students and they even give special "lectures" (again *g*) for us... i'm going to the multimedia lesson, sill not knowing what to do with it. it's quite international right now, but thats nice.

i'll try, but not promise, to keep you up-to-date, what i am doing ...
but this one, was a big brick, so hopefully you get your news regurlarly. i', doing my best.

why i am blogging in english? well.. i've lost the whole of my portuguese
and the rest, i don't know ;)

best wishes from portugal,
stefan
