greetz,

less than 4 months left until we [andreas and i] will leave germany for a beautiful, 18 months takin' trip to curitiba, brazil. due to this, there are a couple of necessary things we have to deal with. [visa, vaccinations, fellowship, and so on]

this blog is for those people that'll stay here but want to know, what i am struggling with. :) and of course the nicer things, too.

short status report:
- today arrived the fellowship contract which pledges me about 3.500 euro.
- the invitation of the pontifícia universidade católica do paraná [pucpr], needed to get the fixed-term visa, is in progress.

necessary to be done shortly:
- booking a one-way flight to curitiba [cwb]
- getting sufficient immunization prophylaxes
- lenghten the validation of my passport
- learning the portuguese/brazilian language
- checking for an accomodation in curitiba
- getting some credit cards
...
